His engine is now as happy as ever, its roof moves up and down, and snickety gear changes feel as snickety as they always have. This is a good day. But obviously, there is some story behind everything that brought me to him today.

Today, it was going to be the day that Oliver was finally going to be mended. The piece had arrived and the mechanic had it, it was just a matter of time for us to go for the car. I was at school in my last class at around 1:30 and I receive 3 calls from an unknown number. Weird, I thought, I better not call it with all that crime through telephone going on. My Girlfriend told me: What if it is important? So I accepted the call, and boy was my beautiful girl right.

"Yes, am I calling the lawyer." I heard.

"What? Who is this?" I replied

"Yes, you are going to be late for the meeting, we are waiting for your final decision on the case." What the living hell is going on here, I thought.

"So are you coming sir or what?" was his las words in a manly, rough voice.

"Uhm, I , uh, I dont understand who are you trying to look for sir.I can help you to find what you need but I think this is a wrong number"

"This is no wrong number! Come on, stop making us wait and come here as quickly as possible!"

I was just speechless, who the hell was this guy, and why didn't he heard me say it was a wrong number? There was silence.

"Haha, calm down young man! We have your car! It is ready whenever you would like to come!"

My mechanic had trolled me. I was just left staring like an imbecile at the floor hearing his laughter through the speaker. But you know what? It didn't matter if I was just humiliated, Oliver was fixed!

I stayed in school till 4 P.M. since I waited for my Girlfriend and her friend to go out of a meeting with another teacher. I would make her the favour of taking her and her friend to eat with her other friends. We jumped in my sisters Jetta, and I left them with a smile on my face. I went home, studied some Bio, and was ready to go for Oliver with my father some hours later.

We got to the mechanic, and I went straight for the keys and started her up. There was a bit of hesitation at first, but as it burned the excess fuel, it stabilised into a nice purring machine. I went straight to give it a nice tank of gas, and headed home so I could do a little interior work.

I then decided to celebrate this by taking him someplace special, then celebrate some more drinking a fresh Piña Colada and writing this article. Hope you enjoyed this series of fixing it as much as I did, thank you all for reading it, and Oliver thanks you even more. I can officially say I needed him a lot, and hope that now it goes on without issue for a long long time.

Congrats glad he is back, and buy the way I am surprised you have a girlfriend with how much attention you give to your car. I think he needs the gift of a supercharger now.

Haha I never try to put her before cars. It wouldn't be right. Also, I only plan on taking it for a wash for now.

I for see an awkward conversation in your future. (Harp music plays) Vincente get in here and help change your sons diaper. You need to spend time with your kids and me not just with your dumb Volkswagen. If you didn't get me pregnant I would never had married you. I sometimes wish I was a Volkswagen so I could get some attention. (all spoken in the words of your future wife). Just kidding.
